Guests and attractions of the 27. festival

EC1 Łódź – City of Culture and the Association of Artists CONTUR invite everyone to the Atlas Arena for the 27th edition of the International Festival of Comics and Games in Lodz.

This year’s guests are Milo Manara, Tanino Liberatore, Scott McCloud, Joan Cornella, Marvano, Bedu, Simon Bisley, David B., Ulises Farinas, Paul Tobin, Tyler Crook, Joel Alessandra, Heikki Ronkko and the talent hunter from Dark Horse – Daniel Chabon. Of course, the event wouldn’t be complete without many Polish authors (including Marzena Sowa, Katarzyna Niemczyk, Berenika Kołomycka, Andrzej Nowakowski, Mateusz Skutnik, Sebastian Skrobol, Filip Myszkowski, Krzysztof Ostrowski, Robert Trojanowski, Piotr Nowacki, Łukasz Kowalczuk and many more), workshops, portfolio reviews, Star Wars zone, Manga Corner, cosplay and other events. One of them will be very interesting – the premiere if the anthology of  comics from the legendary magazine Relax, prepared by Egmont Poland.

The festival is also accompanied by other great events:

Promised Land Art Festival – international professional workshops for pgraphic designers working in video games, movies and special effects, organized by the creators of the Witcher (game) – the CD Projekt RED studio and by the EC1 Lodz – City of Culture. October 1 will be an open day at the Promised Land Art Festival for anyone with the ticket from the 27. International Festival of Comics and Games.


ESL Finals of the Polish Championship, one of the most important events in Poland in terms of electronic sports. This year the tournaments are: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends. The prizes’ stake is 90 000 PLN minimum.


Fighting Games Challenge – organized by Mobisoft and the Street Fighter Group Poland. This year, the tournaments are: Street Fighter V – PS4 (Capcom Ranking Event), Mortal Kombat X – PS4, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 / Tekken 7 – PS3, Guilty Gear Xrd – Revelator – PS4, Doom – PC.
