The cosplay contest returns to the International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź!
On Saturday, 19 September 2026, the stage of the 37th MFKiG will be taken over by characters from video games, comic books, films, television series and the wider world of fantasy.
Participants can enter either a costume based on an existing visual reference or their own original design. Solo and group performances are welcome. Each participant will present their costume during an individual judging session and later perform on the festival stage.
Prizes will be awarded in three categories:
“Best Cosplay” – PLN 1,500, EC1 Award
“Best Stage Performance” – PLN 1,500, EC1 Award
“Best Original Design” – PLN 1,500, EC1 Award
Only self-made costumes are eligible for the contest. In the “Best Cosplay” category, at least 80 per cent of the costume must be made by the participant. Individual ready-made elements, such as wigs, contact lenses or shoes, are allowed. Original designs must be created and made by the participant, although they may include clothing and materials that have been significantly altered to form a new costume.
