KOMIKSUSY – MFKiG awards for the best Polish comics
We invite you to participate in the next edition of the competition KOMIKSUSY, which aims to promote and honor the most interesting Polish comics published in the last year.
The contest covers publications that premiered between August 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025.
Competition categories:
- Best Polish comic
- Best Polish comic for children and young people
- Best Polish debut (applies to authors who have not previously published an independent comic book in print)
Who can submit comics?
Entries can be submitted by publishers – individuals or legal entities. Each title must be submitted separately. There is no limit to the number of publications submitted.
Conditions of participation:
- published in print,
- in Polish,
- with a publishing premiere in Poland.
Excluded from the competition are reissues (unless they contain at least 25% new content) and anthologies consisting of more than two comics by different authors.
How to submit a comic book?

- or by email to: konkurs.mfkig@workspace.ec1lodz.pl (you must send the comic in PDF format and the entry form – Appendix 1 to the rules)
For large files, use data transfer tools. Comics nominated in the contest must also be delivered in print (address: Center for Comics and Interactive Narration EC1 Lodz, 46 Tuwima Street, 90-021 Lodz, with the note “Comics – nomination”).
Winners in each of the three categories will receive:
- a financial award of PLN 4000 gross,
- a statuette of KOMIKSUS.
Deadline for submissions: until July 31, 2025
Announcement of results and presentation of awards: during the 36th International Festival of Comics and Games in Lodz
