Winners of the awards and competitions of the 37th International Festival of Comics and Games
During the gala of the 37th International Festival of Comics and Games, we announced the winners of the most important awards and competitions of this year’s edition.
KOMIKSUSY
Best Polish Comic of the Year:
Marcin Podolec for „Sezon spadających gwiazd”, published by Kultura Gniewu.
Best Comic for Children and Young Adults of the Year:
Łukasz Mazur for the artwork and Ewa Betlewska for the script of „Ancymonstra”, published by Kultura Gniewu.
Best Debut of the Year:
Natalia Legutko for „To był najlepszy koniec świata”, published by Kultura Gniewu.
Sophie Castille Translation Award
The award went to Piotr Paczkowski for his translation from Swedish of the comic „Naturalna komedia”, published by Kultura Gniewu and edited by Michał Olech.
Album Project Competition
Grand Prix:
Anna Myszkowska for „Przed wschodem”.
1st Prize:
Katarzyna Dziedzic for „Swimmers’ Tears”.
2nd Prize:
Zuzanna Lewandowska for „List do przyjaciela”.
3rd Prize:
Zofia Słowik for „Greetings from Pustkowice”.
Zbigniew Lengren Comic Strip Competition
The winners are Roman Gajewski and Łukasz Bogacz for „Kaziu”.
Publisher of the Year
The Publisher of the Year title went to Lost in Time.
Papcio Chmiel Doctorate Humoris Causa
The distinction for contributions to Polish comics was awarded to Michał Traczyk.
