The Sophie Castille Translation Award
Submissions are now open for the 2026 Sophie Castille Award for Comics Translation, presented for a comic book translation into Polish.
The competition is open to comics published between 1 August 2025 and 30 June 2026. The submission deadline is 19 July 2026. Entries should be submitted via the form:
The winner of the award will receive a financial prize of PLN 4,000 and the Sophie Castille statuette.
The Sophie Castille Award for Comics Translation is an international initiative whose aim is to highlight the key role of translators in popularising comics from around the world on local markets. It was established by VIP Brands Ltd. and the COMICA and LICAF festivals.
