First details about the 32nd MFKiG in Łódź – offline!
Get ready to join us for the 32nd International Festival of Comics and Games – MFKiG – in Łódź on October 2-3rd 2021 – this time offline!
The festival will be organize according to all restrictions and sanitary regulations at the time of the event. We are going back to the atmosphere and formula of the festival that we all hold so dear! In October, you can expect all the well familiar aspects of the event in Łódź:
- TRADE FAIR – the most important comic book publishers, traders and artist booths
- MEETINGS WITH POLISH CREATORS
- AUTOGRAPH ZONE
- COSPLAY CONTEST
- FREE GAMING ZONE, TOURNAMENTS AND INTERACTIVE BOOTHS
- EXHIBITIONS – for the very first time in the CENTRE OF COMICS AND INTERACTIVE NARRATIVES OF EC1!
As well as some new events:
- SCREENING ROOM for displaying the prerecorded interviews with international creators
- STANISŁAW LEM ZONE created in cooperation with Wydawnictwo Literackie publishing house
- ŁÓDŹ GAMEDEV COCTAIL – industry talks and showcases of Łódź game development studios
- CD PROJEKT RED DISCUSSION PANEL – including surprises, more details soon!
The festival will also be the place of the winner announcements for two still ongoing competitions:
- Internatinal short comic story competition – entries deadline: July 31st 2021
- Children competition (PL only) MASZYNA DO SPEŁNIANIA ŻYCZEŃ
Having the safety and health of the international guests in mind, as well as various restrictions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe, meetings with the international creators will be mostly restricted to video interviews.
