Foreign guests of the 28th MFKiG
We announce foreign guests of the 28th International Festival of Comics and Games in Lodz!
It is with great pleasure that we announce artists coming to our Festival from all over the world. Together with Egmont we invited Jim Lee to Lodz to promote the start of “DC: Rebirth” series. From United States we also have Howard Chaykin – the author of, among others, comics from Star Wars universe. The guests of this year’s edition are also Achdé – continuer of the „Lucky Luke” series, Grzegorz Rosiński – illustrator of “Thorgal”, celebrating its 40th anniversary, Guy Delisle – the author of non-fiction graphic novels and Simon Bisley – the illustrator behind “Lobo” series.
The audience will have a chance to meet Sylvain Runberg from France (scriptwriter of “Orbital”, “Millennium”, “Konungar” and “Reconquêtes”), Koren Shadmi – the author of “Love Addict: Confessions of a Serial Dater”, Silvio Camboni – illustrator of “Le Voyage extraordinaire”, David Roach – the man behind, among others, “Judge Dredd”, Alice Milani – the author of a graphic novel “Wisława Szymborska” and Joël Alessandra – the author of “Errance en mer Rouge”.
We also expect other special guests to come to Lodz: the illustrator David Lloyd („V for Vendetta” and „War Stories”), Will Simpson (i.e. „Judge Dredd” , „Hellblazer” and „Batman”, “Game of Thrones” storyboards), Otto Schmidt („Green Arrow Rebirth”), Ingo Römling („Malcolm Max”), Berliac („Sadboi”), as well as Grazia la Padula and Tony Sandoval (the authors behind „Invisible Voices”).
