Comic book publication design competition – 36th MFKiG
The new edition of the contest for the design of a comic book publication, organized as part of the 36th International Festival of Comics and Games in Lodz, has been launched.
This is an open call for all creators, regardless of age, experience or style. If you have an idea for a comic book and want to show it to the world – this is your chance.
The contest task: Participants prepare a project for a comic book publication – a coherent fragment of a larger story, which can be from 8 to 12 boards. The work should be accompanied by a summary of the entire story (1800-3000 characters without spaces). The entire planned album should be a minimum of 32 pages. Various production techniques are allowed: drawing, painting, computer graphics, photography or mixed techniques. Board format: B5 (176 x 250 mm) or A4 (210 x 297 mm).
Conditions of participation:
– The competition is open to everyone.
– Works that have not yet been published (both in print and on the Internet) and have not been awarded in other competitions can be submitted.

Awards:
– Grand Prix – PLN 7,000 gross + statuette + opportunity to publish an album
– 1st prize – 4,000 PLN gross
– II prize – PLN 3000 gross
– Third prize – PLN 2000 gross
In addition, the organizer reserves the right to award additional prizes or otherwise divide the pool.
Announcement of results: Winners will be informed prior to the festival, and the official results will be announced during the gala of the 36th International Comics and Games Festival in Lodz.
